Tensions are running high worldwide right now and it felt like a good time to turn off the news and try some calming art therapy. I chose to make a zentangle on top of an alcohol ink background.

You can do this with the brushes shown here or with any other brushes you have, all you need to do is lay down some color and texture. You could also try watercolor, making a texture using some of the artistic brushes that come with Procreate, or even use the stamps from one of my free brush sets to lay down a texture. Then you can use your favourite drawing pen.

I use "Monoline Ink" from my free brush set - to trace lines and patterns over top of the texture. It's very meditative and best to stay away from perfectionism or any expectations about how it should look, if you want the full therapeutic affect.
