Create Alcohol Ink Art in Procreate with the Liquify Tool
In today's video, we are making an alcohol ink art piece in Procreate using the Liquify tool.
It is not strictly necessary to use the Liquify tool with my Amazing Alcohol Ink brushes and if you've seen a lot of my videos you'll know I don't tend to use it a lot. However, I know that many people do like to use them in tandem and it's a great tool to add some movement to your pieces and can be very meditative and satisfying, which is why I've created this tutorial to give you another tool in your abstract art toolbox.
You can follow this tutorial using my brushes as I do in the video, or you are very welcome to experiment with any other brushes you have to see what fun new happy accidents you can discover.
46 Dynamic, carefully engineered alcohol ink brushes for Procreate - no stamps, clipping masks or elaborate effects - just amazing brushes.
This is a set of carefully crafted brushes which allow you to create realistic alcohol ink artwork right on your iPad. Best of all is it blissfully uncomplicated and 100% customisable, without resorting to stamps, clipping masks, or any complicated techniques that interrupt the flow. And alcohol ink artwork is all about the flow.
Harnessing the full power of Procreate 5, these brushes can create effects never before seen on an iPad. This medium is notoriously difficult to achieve digitally and it has been a personal mission of mine, as an analogue alcohol ink artist, to make this medium more accessible in a digital format for those who do not have the time, space, money, optimal air circulation, protective equipment, etc required to use real alcohol inks.
