Draw a Marble Inlay Bird in Procreate using a Photo
I have lived in Europe for much of my adult life, so I have been to a lot of castles! The beautiful, inlayed details I have observed on tables and artifacts within the stunning castles served as the inspiration for this project. Outlining and filling in the shapes is positively therapeutic, and I can't even explain how satisfying it is to christen each line with gold glittery goodness as a finishing touch - you'll just have to experience it for yourself!
Made using iPad Pro 2020 in the Procreate app with Apple Pencil, using brushes from my Stone & Marble and Gold Rush brush sets. You are very welcome to follow the tutorial with any textured or patterned brushes you have.
A diverse collection of 71 texture brushes based on real, high resolution marble and stone textures. Including classic carrara marble, concrete, granite, sandstone, gorgeous crackled and veiny textures, dark marble, and even fanciful glittery marble that really pops when used in color!
Made from high resolution images of genuine stone textures and meticulously transformed into a digital format, these brushes emulate the depth and character of natural stones. Experiment with the brushes in different color combinations and add shadows to craft realistic stone illustrations, visual interest to your drawings.
WHAT YOU GET:
27 Stone texture brushes
35 Marble texture brushes
10 Glitter marble texture brushes
1 Color palette with the colors used to create the crystal image
All brushes are based on real stone and marble

The Gold Rush collection has been loved by thousands of artists and designers over the years, and now it’s back, rebuilt from the ground up in 2025 for Procreate 5.4.
This update is not just about new brushes, it’s about making every brush sharper, smoother, and more flexible than ever. Almost the entire set has been overhauled using Procreate’s new Brush Studio features, so textures look crisp and solid on light backgrounds as well as dark, glitter is built right in with no workarounds, and many brushes now scale their textures dynamically with size.
The set is now bigger too, with 75 brushes in total. That includes four distinct categories: rich metallic Textures, versatile Drawing & Painting tools, sparkling Accents, and smooth Lettering brushes. The naming and organization system has also been completely refined for clarity, so it’s easier to find exactly what you need.
In short, this update makes Gold Rush the most polished, powerful metallic Procreate brush set yet. Paint, draw, scatter, and letter your way to dazzling results directly on your iPad with your Apple Pencil.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
75 Procreate brushes (in one .brushset file) across four categories: textures, drawing & painting, accents, and lettering.
Crystal clear metallic textures behind the brushes, that look sharp and solid on both light and dark backgrounds, with many scaling dynamically as you adjust brush size.
Confetti brushes with scalable glitter textures built in. No clipping mask or workarounds needed!
1 Metallic Color Palette (.swatches file) designed to pair perfectly with the brushes.
A written cheat sheet explaining each brush category with tips for best results.
Full video walkthrough and demo to get you started.
A growing playlist of tutorial videos coming soon.
